Biography

Hoste has proven strength as a time trialist and Classics rider and returned to Lotto in 2007 after a two-year stint at Discovery. Hoste may best be remembered for the infamous train incident during the 2006 edition of Paris-Roubaix, when he and Peter Van Petegem were disqualified for riding past a railroad-crossing barrier as it was closing.
