Austin investment firm bankrolls team
Adageo Energy will headline a new U.S.-registered, UCI Continental Professional team that has its roots in a Southern California cycling club.
The Adageo Energy Pro Cycling Team aims to build on the foundation of its grassroots programs, the Southern California-based Liquid Fitness-Adageo Energy Elite Team and the 400-member Liquid Cycling Club, says team director Josh Horowitz.
Adageo Energy, based in Austin, Texas, is an investment firm that capitalizes on high-growth, high-return opportunities in the energy sector. The team continues to seek a co-title sponsor, says Horowitz.
