Litespeed is re-releasing its titanium Pisgah mountain bike frame. Features on the new Pisgah include the RDS dropout system for quick conversion to singlespeed dropouts, new geometry showcasing an oversized tube set, asymmetric chain stays for maximum drivetrain stiffness, power transfer and tire clearance.
The new Pisgah uses aerospace-grade, 3Al-2.5V Geometrically Enhanced Titanium (GET) tubes. Litespeed believes that this provides greater stiffness and ride quality than other materials.
The Pisgah will use the same down tube shaping as that found on the super-elite Ocoee, which provides optimum fork crown clearance and improved head tube stiffness. The frame will be compatible with 80 to 120mm suspension forks.
The Pisgah is scheduled to be released in mid May and will be available in four sizes.
