Vuelta Mexico: Serramenti PVC's Jackson Rodriguez takes stage 2 as OUCH's James Pinfold is second.

Jackson Rodriguez (Serramenti PVC Diquigiovanni) won Monday's second stage of the Vuelta Mexico, a 205km route from De Huajuapan to León-Puebla.
Canadian Andrew Pinfold (OUCH-Maxxis) finished second while young American Peter Stetina of a composite U25 American team leads the Most Aggressive category of the eight-stage event.

Stage 2 featured three rated climbs, including the final climb that ascended nearly 1000 meters, topping out eight kilometers from the finish in Puebla.
“Pinner rode a great stage,” OUCH team director Mike Tamayo said. “He’s known more for his sprinting but he showed today that he has pretty good climbing legs, and the strength to get a great result at the end of a hard day.”
Last year's Vuelta Mexico winner Glen Chadwick (Rock Racing), and OUCH's Bradley White, spent about 140 kilometers off the front in a six-rider break that was absorbed heading into the final climb.
By the time the race neared the top of the climb, a front group numbering around 50 riders had formed. The group included OUCH's Floyd Landis and four teammates.
“Once we got over the top of the climb,” Tamayo said, “we went to the front and took control of the bunch.” The team was able to deliver Penfold to the podium, while Landis finished in the lead group. Race leader
