LAS introduces their new top shelf helmet, the Victory. Designed with safety as the most important attribute, the Victory also excels in ventilation, fit, and style.
At first glance you may notice fewer vents than other popular cycling helmets, but there's more than meets the eye. The 15 vents are all placed in such a way as to maximize airflow through the helmet — each entry vent having a complimentary exit vent. The polystyrene is coated with Airtex treated with Interpower, which smoothes and seals the pores, thus promoting airflow and hindering the absorption of sweat.
With experience in speed skating and equestrian helmet design, when it comes to fit and safety, the Victory accomplishes both. The Catseyes roller adjustment system is fully adjustable with the ability to be pulled further down the backside of the head than most common cycling helmets. LAS says that the idea behind a better fit is protection from second and third impacts, not just the initial impact which often knocks the helmet out of place.
If the available six colors don't cut it for your personal style or team uniform, LAS offers a custom design program for the Victory. For an entirely custom hard outer shell there is a 200-piece minimum and pricing is variable. The most common custom route is a graphic overlay, for which there is only about a five to ten piece minimum; ideal for small teams and only $25 more than the baseline.
