Double the shows… Double the prospects & pleasures!
Incredible prospects will open here since for the first time ever Taipei CYCLE will be held alongside its Taipei Int’l Sporting Goods Show that takes place at the TWTC at the same time as Taipei CYCLE runs at the Nangang Exhibition Hall. An entire fleet of buses will zip visitors between the airport, MRT stations, hotels, and these trade shows. In addition, TAITRA is providing a tour for international buyers so this place to let them touch the heart of Taiwan.
After more than two decades of effort in research, production, and marketing Taiwan manufacturers can rightfully boast that they are an essential element to the industry, and TAIPEI CYCLE has grown with this to become one of the most important cycle exhibitions in the world. Years have past since Taiwan’s industry was original exclusive manufacturers since makers have now evolved with new products of high added value.
The large number of international manufacturers and high quality products make this exhibition the very definition of one-stop sourcing, especially since overseas buyers give top marks to products made by Taiwan manufacturers, citing their creativity and flexibility in research, production, and marketing.
The exhibition is divided up into three key areas. The products that will be on display include tires, seats, frames, lights, breaks, derailleurs, LEVs, and complete bicycles. To encourage even greater buyer-exhibitor interaction, TAITRA had laid out several show-related events such as Tour de Taiwan, Biking Acrobatic Show, Outdoor Test Rides, International Bicycle Trend Forum, Award Ceremony of the 12th Int’l Bicycle Design Competition, Taipei Int’l Cycle & LEV Forum , LEV International Conference, Winners of Innovation Award Ceremony, and Taiwan Cycle Night. All these events will add an extra depth to the show.
Tour de Taiwan will take place between March 9 and 16. The 8-stage event has attracted the participation of teams from 20 countries. In order to celebrate the grand opening of the NANGANG Exhibition Hall, it will become one of the stages of the race on March 15. Along with this the race will eventually reach the Taipei World Trade Center on March 16. Bets are on that Tour de Taiwan will create many business opportunities.
During the exhibition, TAITRA has also scheduled several BMX performances. It is hoped that these events can promote BMX biking in Taiwan. In the outdoor test riding event, exhibitors will demonstrate the performance and features of their products in their own biking acrobatic shows. Here’s a chance for buyers to test ride the latest wonders on wheels.
For the 2008 Taipei Int’l Cycle & LEV Forum , TAITRA has invited experts from COLIPED, Extra Energy and National Bicycle Dealers Association to share their expertise on the current market situation, industry trends, and bicycle safety standards with exhibitors and visitors. These events will be of great value when Taiwanese manufacturers enter the international market.
The Taipei International Cycle Show has been expanding every year ever since its inception, but it is still striving to include more innovative events and services, and improve the overall quality of the exhibition. As a result this venue perfectly showcases cycle products from every facet of the industry and is the best purchasing platform for international buyers.
