Can't Symmetrics get a little love?
Editor:
Has Symmetrics not done enough to earn an invite to the Tour of California? The team won the UCI Americas title (individual and team) and has animated many, many races. These guys should be there.
While it's great to have ProTour talent on North American soil, let's not forget about the North American teams. I know, it has been said over and over again: Why limit the roster to 17 teams when there is now plenty of talent on the domestic teams?

Sheldon's often down, but never out
Editor:
Regarding the last couple of letters about Sheldon Brown: Most of us know that his site presents a wealth of information on cycling. Many may not know that he has recently been diagnosed as suffering from multiple sclerosis. My mother suffered from the disease for many years and I know that he has a big challenge ahead of him.
According to his website (http://sheldonbrown.org/journal/health-details.html), he is often down but never out. I hope that all readers of VeloNews will keep him in their thoughts at the beginning of this new year.
