2016 U.S. cyclocross worlds team unveiled

USA Cycling announced on Monday its 31-rider roster for the cyclocross world championships, to be held January 30-31 in Zolder, Belgium.

The announcement comes a day after the national championship held in Asheville, North Carolina, which saw Katie Compton (Trek) and Jeremy Powers (Aspire Racing) successfully defend their stars-and-stripes jerseys.

Fifteen of the 31 spots were filled through USA Cycling’s automatic selection criteria. Riders can still decline their roster position. Jamey Driscoll indicated he would do so on his Instagram feed late Monday.
