Katusha will ride new components in 2016 — the newest around, in fact: SRAM’s wireless electronic eTap group. Images surfaced on the team’s Facebook page, which were first spotted by Road.cc.
The Russian squad’s riders were getting in some early season miles this week in Calpe Spain and trying out the new equipment. Another WorldTour team, AG2R La Mondiale tested the eTap components extensively throughout 2015.
VeloNews‘s Caley Fretz had a chance to ride the new eTap components earlier this season, and he was impressed.
