Late on Friday, USA Cycling announced the final rider selected to its UCI World Road Championships men’s team. Lawson Craddock (Giant-Alpecin) will round out the six-rider squad for the elite men’s road race. He will also race the individual time trial along with BMC’s Taylor Phinney.
Craddock, 23, is currently racing the Vuelta a España, aiming to help his teammate Tom Dumoulin win the overall. So far this season, the Austin, Texas resident’s best result was third place in stage 6 of the Tour of Poland in August.
