Evry to Paris (137.5km)
Sunday, July 27th 9:45 a.m. – 1:01 p.m. EDT
Everyone can still remember 2013’s finale, which celebrated the Tour’s 100th edition with a passage in front of the Louvre, followed by a complete circuit of the Arc de Triomphe. Those moments will be repeated this year, in addition to the traditional “climb” up the Champs-Élysées, which isn’t as flat as it seems. Mark Cavendish has won this stage four times, but was beaten last year by Marcel Kittel. Already a winner of the first stage in Bastia, Kittel became one of the 14 riders who have won on the first and last day of a Tour. Before the German, Thor Hushovd had been the last to join the club, in 2006.
